Sending instructions to an MSI-based software installation requires learning only a single syntax. That's the case because MSI-based software installations all share in a universal switch structure. Installations with the other file extension, MSIs, tend to be much easier. EXE-based installations do not have a universal switch structure for sending instructions to the installer as it goes about an installation.

Using Group Policy Software Installation (or any of the other solutions) in combination with a silenced installation, you can fully eliminate all the time-consuming manual steps required for handling your user's software. Many of such tools exist on the market today, including one that's built directly into Active Directory Group Policy. That power comes in distributing software through an automated tool. Eliminating anything that requires the user to enter data or click a button is what makes a silent installation so powerful for automating software installation. Some dialog boxes might pop up, but they'll disappear on their own. In a silent installation, everything that happens after you initiate the installer occurs without interactively prompting the user. Also it does its best to store commonly used files on the ssd cache, which is why it can dramatically improve boot times. If you go to save a file that is smaller than your cache size, the file will save quickly to the ssd and then write through to the hdd as the hdd can accept the data, giving you the appearance of much faster speeds.

It's definitely no 850 Pro but it makes the computer much much more usable. I'm currently using this on my NUC at work to cache a 2TB Seagate 5400RPM drive with a 64GB MSata and it really is a night and day difference. They're probably referring to intel smart response technology, basically using that msata ssd to cache a large drive and making an sshd, although intel treats the cached drive as a RAID 0, so hence super RAID. I'm assuming it's their fancy name for their software that helps with Intel-Smart response booting from a raid array? In other words it's their way of adding an extra bonus to their motherboards to make them seem more flashy using buzz words like raid etc? He didn't even seem like he knew exactly what it was at the time. So I called them and basically the guy said it's their name for their software utility to use intels' smart technology.
